UFC 147: Silva vs. Franklin is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday June 23, 2012, at the Estadio Journalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Initially the main event was between the contenders Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort, however, as the latest UFC reports informed; Belfort will be out of the fight due to a broken hand, which obligated Vitor's Team to search for a replacement as a "Plan B", therefore, Rich "Ace" Franklin will head Silva this coming 23rd. This is the second time these two great fighters will meet.
UFC 147 will feature its live transmition of the preliminary fights through FX channel.
